Took a brief trip down to Stephens City yesterday to catch Bruce Fransen, Gallery at 105 wood sculptor, and a couple of jazz sidemen at The Paladin Bar and Grill. Bruce is a superb sax and flute player and is busy most weekends at various area jazz venues. In fact, he’s playing a Sunday brunch gig today at Beans in the Belfry in Brunswick, MD. And Bruce just added some new great work to his collection here at the Gallery, including “Confluence”, a stunning multi-part pieced rendered from red maple.
